Weary Dash - 40

A tricky project for a dusty dash display,
After it stopped working to my dismay.
At 35 years old, it had seen its day,
Time to search for a new one?
That is, until I saw how much I'd pay.
I dismantled the parts only to find,
A thick caking of vintage dust behind.
My WD-40 Contact Cleaner came out,
I sprayed the old parts without a doubt.
Could this really make it work again?
It sure did! Ten out of ten!
I was so chuffed with my WD-40 spray,
Now the old ute is ready for another 500k.
