I found two industrial style stools on a council clean up pile. Rather than letting them go to landfill, I decided to restore them. I sanded and varnished the wooden tops, then used WD 40 to getting the rotating mechanism working again, clean away grime from years of use, and stop rust in its tracks. Now they’re beautifully restored and looking great in our kitchen.
