I found a pair of industrial style stools on a council clean up pile and decided to use some WD40 to help restore them. I sanded and varnished the wooden tops, then used WD40 to halt rust in its tracks, clean out the grit, and get movement back in the rotating mechanism. They came up a treat and look great in our kitchen.
