Diff locker for a dummy

Taking an open differential 4x4 to have e lockers fitted and working is a job for a
Professional. But its also a job that a
novice with some good research and a lot of persistence can accomplish. I’m in no way a
mechanic but with the help of a few
mates was able to knock this out in a day.

Some of the harder parts were:
Removing the old centre.
Drilling and tapping a hole in my housing.
Setting up the shims to have the right backlash.


I think more importantly than saving a few dollars I have learned about my vehicle and will be better served to service it into the future.
